I am a struggling artist - A Pass

Singer A Pass Uganda has admitted he doesn't consider himself a successful Ugandan musician.

A Pass, born Alexander Bagonza said that while many of his fans take him in high regard as an accomplished musician, he doesn't share their views.

The “Guli Wano” singer was responding to one of his fans during a TikTok live stream, who referred to him as a legend.

“I know that some of you may see me as a legend and I don't blame you, but I don't see myself like that,” he said.

For me, I am still a humble, struggling artist.

The singer recently share a similar sentiment on social media, posting; "I Humbly accept the struggles of life because I am human. I am a process, I have not arrived. I am one with my struggles because it’s all part of life and the process."

A Pass recently dropped a new album titled Bagonza with a mind-boggling 42 tracks.

The album was met with mixed feelings by music lovers, many of whom believe it does not have a single hit.

DJ Nimrod went as far as branding it a “failed album” which sparked a barbed exchange with the artist.

During the live stream, A Pass revealed that he plans to shoot music videos for all the songs on the album.

At the moment I am still trying to figure out which ones to start with, but we’ll do videos for all the tracks,” he said.

The singer also revealed plans to do more music including collabos with international artists.
