The Kiss FM radio presenter has surely represented Ugandan men in such a way that he deserves a seat as one of the elders on the committee of the proverbial Men’s Conference.

McKenzie, as he is popularly known, may be a hardcore hip-hop and rap music fan, but deep down, the rhythms and blues that he practices and the stunning romance journey he has showered Kaggyo are testimony to this.

The Sembera Eno singer started off by proposing to Kaggyo at an exotic location and documenting the journey on Instagram. Dressed casually smart in black pants, a white t-shirt, and a black coat, accentuated by white sneakers, Mckenzie made the bold move of proposing to Kaggyo, who donned a black evening dress in what the radio presenter could have planned as a date.

On a bent knee, at the mercy of the young lady who recently returned from the United Kingdom, accepting vulnerability, he popped the difficult question: ‘Will you marry me?’ To which she replied: ‘Yes!’

With the proposal sealed in April 2023, McKenzie did not sleep on duty but worked his way to make the union official in June 2024. Kaggyo introduced the man of her dreams to her parent’s home in Kampala. Still dressed in a monochromatic white kanzu and black coat, McKenzie smiled as his bride dazzled in an embellished gomesi.

Following the introduction, McKenzie and Kaggyo finally held their dream white wedding, completing the marriage ceremonies in honour of their traditional culture and modern religious influences.

McKenzie still maintained his colour monochromatic colour theme, settling for a white suit with black edges while the bride wore an all-white gown.
