The actress, who has been involved in the entertainment industry since she was in Primary Seven, will hold the show in Kampala on August 3.
"I urge everyone to come to Theatre Labonita for The Best of Evelyn Namulondo: From Zero to Hero," she said during a press conference on Tuesday, July 18.
Namulondo said she initially wanted to call the show the Foundation of Evelyn Namulondo, but she decided to change the name "to hit two birds with the same stone."
Big names in the entertainment industry, including Winnie Nwagi, Remah Namakula, Spice Diana, Levixone, Irene Namatovu, David Lutalo, Kampala Boys, among others have recorded videos promoting the show.
She said Eddy Kenzo and Dr. Hamza Sebunya are set to attend.
A number of top artists are also set to perform at the event. All the aforementioned named will perform and others include Mesach Semakula, Pallaso, Madrat and Chiko, Fik Fameica, Feffe Bussi, Nubian Li, Pastor Wilson Bugembe and singer-cum-MP Geoffrey Lutaaya.
Evelyn Namulondo joined the arts industry at a very young age, starting as a dancer, then tried acting after being accepted by The Ebonies, where she also did a bit of singing.
With her baby daddy, Travas Mutyaba, they one formed a karaoke group, which would later collapse as she realised she was better placed as an actor among other reasons.
She was worked with The Ebonies for most, if not all, of her acting career and featured in a number of well-received projects.
