Bell ObaFest returns with star-studded line-up for 2024 edition

The highly anticipated Bell ObaFest is back for its second edition, promising an unforgettable experience with a stellar line-up of performers. Organised by Bell Lager, the flagship beer of Uganda Breweries, this year’s festival will run from 18th to 20th October at Jahazi Pier in Munyonyo, offering a perfect blend of music, beer, and Ugandan culture.

Festivalgoers can look forward to performances by some of Uganda’s most celebrated artists, including Vinka, Winnie Nwagi, John Blaq, Blu 3, Fik Fameica, Alideki Brian, and Elijah Kitaka.

Joining them on stage will be some of Kampala’s renowned DJs, such as Selector Jay, Maker Breaker, Fem Deejay, and Eyo Mackus. This line-up aims to celebrate Ugandan music, offering festival attendees a taste of the best local talent while enjoying ice-cold beer.

Lillian Kansiime, the Bell Lager Brand Manager, expressed her excitement about this year’s festival, noting that Bell ObaFest will once again be a platform to showcase Ugandan culture through music, food, and beer.

As the enjoyments beer, we shall showcase different beer brands from the UBL portfolio to immerse our consumers in the different varieties,” she said.

Festival attendees will have the opportunity to try Bell Lager’s latest innovations, including Bell Citrus, Draught, and Pilsner King, which are set to enhance their festival experience.

In addition to the musical performances, Bell ObaFest will feature various entertainment segments and a broader line-up yet to be revealed, promising an action-packed three-day event. Last year’s festival featured performances by Irene Ntale, Spice Diana, Harmonize, Lynda Dane, and Azawi, some of whom will return to the stage this weekend.

Tickets for the event are available online via Flexipay, with early bird prices set at UGX 30,000 per day, while gate tickets will cost UGX 50,000. A weekend pass, covering all three days, is available for UGX 70,000. Gates will open at 11:00 AM each day, allowing festivalgoers to fully immerse themselves in the music, beer, and fun that Bell ObaFest has to offer.
