Crysto Panda slams Nwagi for not promoting collabo yet she'll make more money

Crysto Panda expected Winnie Nwagi to reciprocate the love he had for her.

While appearing on NBS After 5, Panda said he coughed up more money for the video of his duet with Nwagi than he has in any of his previous projects but he feels bad that the songstress hasn't put in the time to promote the song.

To add salt to the injury, Winnie Nwagi dropped a new song titled Okubye Nyo a few days after the release of their collabo.

"But pushing a song, and I usually tell this to people, when you work on a song with a young upcoming artiste, give them a chance because that artiste comes with a passion and love for you," said Panda.

"They didn't come with money, but they have the passion to work with you. Give them a chance. But if you release a song immediately after the release of the collabo, what are you doing? [That's competition!]," he continued.

"Among all my songs, that's the song I have really invested in... That video was expensive. Very expensive. [The video was filmed by Larry]. So, if I work on a song with you and you don't promote it, that's bad... I would wish for you to be there for me even when I won't remind you."

Panda said that while established artistes help upcoming ones through collabos, the former also benefit immensely.

He said the project has helped him prove to people that he can sing but she is going to make lots of money

"What you need to know is that she has opened doors for me. People didn't know that I can sing. People now know that I can sing but moneywise Winnie is going to make more money from the song than me. Why? Her verse opens the song. Even when the deejay is playing it, they'll play Winnie's verse and stop."

He said he really wanted to work with Nwagi because he liked her. Their duet is titled Mukisenge and it was produced by Nessim and written by Ray Signature & Dokta Brain.
