"There is a singer I need to tell to stop singing," said the music critic, "she's called Ava Peace."

Shades of Kampala is a brainchild of media personality Mr. Henrie and it is held every Wednesday at The Villa, a popular hangout in Bukoto, Kampala.

After seeing Peace perform at the event, Eddie Sendi said he would start informing some singers one by one every week to quit the music industry.

While appearing on Talk and Talk Show on Saturday, May 18, he said when the Shabada hitmaker arrived on stage, the band that was playing started withdrawing.

Instead of performing with the band, Ava Peace lip-synched to the music played by the deejay.

According to Sendi, she also didn't do this well.

He is among the toughest music analysts in Uganda's music industry.

At the end of 2023 when Ray G and Azawi were having issues, the media personality was among those who weighed in and he didn't mince words, calling the former a leech.

"Ray G you are a fish in a pond... People you are dissing are sharks in the ocean... Realistically, his music is also not all that," said Sendi, a season music critic, who also advised Muhairwe to change his dress code.

"Stars don't dress like that. You call yourself a star but you are not yet a star," he said.

He said G was trying so hard to make other singers be hated by people from Mbarara.

According to him, G's "biggest claims to fame" were duets.

He mentioned Yele, a collabo with Geosteady; Yoya, a duet with Levixone; and that his biggest hit was Omusheshe with Spice Diana.
