Ghetto Kids, Tenge Tenge set for Nigeria concert

Ugandan kid sensations Ghetto Kids and Rango Tenge Tenge are set to join Nigerian star Makayla Malaka for a highly anticipated concert in Lagos. The concert is scheduled to take place on July 27, 2024, at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, starting at 12 noon.

In addition to the electrifying musical performances, attendees can look forward to enjoying free burgers and drinks, courtesy of Burger King.

This event aims to showcase the incredible abilities of Africa's young entertainers and is expected to draw a large audience eager to witness the talents of these young stars.

Makayla Malaka, the headliner of the event, will be performing songs from her fifth studio album.

The British-Nigerian singer, born on June 27, 2012, has been making waves in the music industry with her catchy tunes and inspirational messages. Known for her versatility and pop-infused style, Makayla has been recognised as a promising talent by Pulse Nigeria and the Nigerian Tribune. Her music career began at the age of six, and she has since released several albums, including "Eight," "Nine," "Ten," and "Eleven"​ .

The Ghetto Kids, also known as Triplets Ghetto Kids have gained international fame for their energetic performances and heartwarming backstory. The group, consisting of children from disadvantaged backgrounds, uses their platform to inspire and entertain. They have performed at numerous high-profile events and have been featured in music videos by prominent artists, further cementing their status as global ambassadors of Ugandan culture​.

Rango Tenge Tenge, another talented Ugandan performer, will also be gracing the stage. Known for his vibrant performances and unique style, Tenge Tenge has become a beloved figure in Uganda's entertainment scene.

The 13-year-old born Saad Ssozi just recently returned to the United Arab Emirates for a promo campaign by the Dubai-based property moguls, Zamelect Properties.

The concert will also feature Emanuella and Aunty Success, two Nigerian comediennes who have captured the hearts of many with their humorous skits and videos. Their inclusion in the lineup ensures that the event will be filled with laughter and joy, making it a memorable experience for all attendees.
