Bugie says she filed a police case against the unnamed man, in March this year, which forced him to flee the country.
“I think he decided to release that video now after realising how well I am doing today. He is trying to ruin my career.”
Depressed
Since the video release, Bugie says she suffered a mental breakdown.
“I have been trying to ignore the noise and focus on more important things. That is why I have been a bit quiet,” she said.
“Until this time I had not realised how important mental health is. I had never been depressed before. My heart breaks for all the women who have gone through situations like this and that is why I am joining organisations which are helping such women so we can all live in a blackmail-free society.”
Abitex case
Bugie also spoke out about music promoter Abitex, who filed a police complaint against her for “promoting pornography.”
She explained that no woman in her right mind would deliberately release her one nakedness to the world
“I hope that Abitex has sisters or daughters himself. I wish he would study and understand what I am going through,” she added.
