In an interview, Crystal Newman told Jazmine: Now, you talked about Radio and Weasel, and you just said that you miss him so much.

Jazmine responded: Very much, very, very much. It's something, uhm, I think I will never get over. The music lives on... I don't think I have any other favourite writer like Radio. He is my favourite writer Ugandan... music writer... I think I love his lyrics more, more much than the music... Not everybody can write the way Radio can write. He is special. He is unique... I miss him so much... He has written most of my songs.

Mowzey Radio wrote three songs for Lydia Jazmine, including Masuka and Nkubanja.

"We lost such a huge, huge, huge talent, [in]comparable," she said.

Jazmine, real name Lydia Nabawanuka, had her major breakthrough after collaborating with Geosteady, born George William Kigozi -- to release Same Way.

The song, which was produced by Nessim, would become an instant hit.

Born in 1991, Jazmine started getting mainstream attention when producer Bushington hired her to be a backup singer for Mowzey Radio and Weasel Manizo.

She featured on their songs like Breathe Away which was produced by Michael Fingers and Ntunga which was produced by Nessim.

She also did the same for Pallaso, Sheeba Karungi, and Bebe Cool until she dropped her first single titled You Know featuring Rabadaba and produced by Nessim.

Bushington was her manager under his label Necta Music.

In 2016, Radio wrote for her a song titled Nkubanja which was released in 2017 and was produced by the Late Danz Kumapeesa.

In 2018, she also dropped a great ballad titled You and Me after teaming up with Daddy Andre.
