Iryn Namubiru to headline RoastAndRhyme's Soul on Strings edition

Uganda's popular picnic festival, #RoastAndRhyme, is making its much-anticipated return with the #SoulOnStrings edition, scheduled for Sunday, 3rd November, at Jahazi Pier, Munyonyo. This 22nd edition of the festival promises a memorable day filled with live acoustic music, delicious grilled meats, and the serene lakeside atmosphere of Lake Victoria.

Headlining the event is renowned Ugandan vocalist Iryn Namubiru, who is set to captivate audiences with her soulful performances. Iryn will be making her first major stage appearance since her successful Timeless Experience concert at the Kampala Serena Hotel.

With her at the forefront of the festival’s musical line-up, attendees can expect an enchanting and soulful experience that will resonate with both long-time fans and new listeners alike.

#RoastAndRhyme encourages attendees to bring their mats, grills, and favourite meats for an ideal Sunday picnic by the lakeside. The event is set amidst lush green lawns, where festival-goers can spread out, fire up their grills, and relax with the cool breeze and tranquil lakeside environment providing the perfect backdrop.
