Photos: Jameson Hangout thrills Kampala with music, games, and more

The Jameson Hangout, a quarterly festival organised by Talent Africa Group, took place on 28th September 2024 at the Ndeere Centre in Ntinda. The lively event featured interactive games, pop-up shops, musical performances, delicious barbecue, complimentary Jameson cocktails, discounted tattoos, and free haircuts, all complemented by fine Irish whiskey.

The festival’s lineup included renowned Ugandan artists Irene Ntale and Beenie Gunter, along with the Nigerian group Alternate Sound. Gates opened at 4 pm, with DJ Tony setting the tone for the evening. Performers Shawn Mane, Denesi, Professor Joewi, and The Black Wave Sounds kept the energy high throughout the night.

At 10 pm, Irene Ntale took centre stage, performing hits like "Ssembera" and "Stay with Me" alongside The Black Wave Sounds, engaging the crowd in singalongs.

Naselow Da Don and Beenie Gunter followed, turning up the vibe with their dynamic acts. The show concluded with a performance by Alternate Sound from Nigeria, leaving attendees eagerly anticipating the next Jameson Hangout.

Talent Africa Group CEO, Aly Alibhai, praised the event’s success, stating, “The combination of top-notch performers, engaging activities, and a lively atmosphere created an unforgettable experience for all our attendees. The Hangout delivered a unique blend of entertainment and relaxation, with exceptional sound quality and a laid-back atmosphere for attendees to enjoy the full Jameson experience. The Jameson Hangout has become a key fixture in Kampala’s social scene over the past three years as part of the Jameson Bond & Connect series. Talent Africa Group, known for its expertise in event management, organises the event alongside partners Safe Boda, Arudem, NRG, and Jameson.
