- Karole Kasita prefers not to settle into a marriage with a man any time soon
- She would rather have a partner with whom she can live separately, hosting him briefly or visiting him
- Kasita has seen the downsides of marriage through her friends and sisters, and prefers to prioritize love, understanding, and happiness
In fact, the Tetunazina singer cannot imagine living under the same roof with a lover.
She prefers instead living apart from her man, where she can host him briefly at her house, or visit him at his own.
“Some of us have seen society and the things that come with marriage…I have seen my friends and sisters who are in marriage and realised there is nothing in there for me,” she said.
“For me, I have reached a point where I would rather have a partner with whom we are in love, we understand each other and are happy….If he is so good, he can come to my place and do those good things to me and go back.
“There is so much peace with you being there and I am here.”
Been there, done that

Kasita, a mother of one, has mostly kept her love life from the public, despite being incessantly linked with rapper Feffe Bussi.
She says her own life experiences have taught her much about men.
Having lived for some time with a man, she says, she realised how dangerous marriage and cohabiting can be.
