Chameleone had come to perform at a show in Kigungu, Entebbe where Saha hails from.
Saha, real name Mansour Ssemanda, had recently recorded a song titled Signal, produced by Didi at a studio in Makindye.
After hearing him singing the song, Chamelone said, according to Saha who appeared on NTV's Mwasuze Mutya sometime back, "He told me, you know what, you are a good singer, you man, but come and I show you the people you need to sing for. If they like you, you move forward."
That's how Saha joined Jose Chameleone's record label Leone Island.
However, he shortly teamed up with his current manager Sam Mukasa and they both left Leone Island a little over a year later.
Before leaving he had recorded some songs including Sikyakusobola, Ritah, Swagger (a collaboration with Gravity Omutujju) and he dropped Mulirwana shortly after departing Leone Island in 2014.
Saha was introduced to Producer Didi by the singer Geosteady.
The Zakayo hitmaker, who explores diversified music genres, including Zouk, RnB, Reggae, Afrobeat and Bossanova, was born in 1989 and hails from Rakai district.
He went to Good Day Nursery School in Kigungu, Entebbe, St Agnes Primary School, Agali Awamu Primary School, Nkumba Secondary School, Kajjansi Progressive Secondary School and Buganda Royal Institute (where he studied business administration).
His music career started with singing in the church choir and school as early as primary school. He professionalised in 2012 after graduating from the Institute.
When they left Leone Island, they worked with Jeff Kiwanuka of Team No Sleep before becoming independent.
