Nigeria's Qing Madi to headline NRG Roar concert

Nigeria sensation Qing Madi is slated to headline the "NRG Roar" concert, the grand finale of the NRG Beast MVP campaign.

You might know the artist for her popular tracks "American Love," "Ole," "Vision," and "YBIL (You Believe in Love)" featuring Kizz Daniel. Qing Madi also appears on Joshua Baraka's "Dalilah" remix alongside Simi.

Qing Madi, born Chimamanda Chukwuma, is an 18-year-old dancer, songwriter, and performer from Benin City, Nigeria. She describes her unique style as Afro R&B, blending elements of Afrobeats and R&B with lyrics that reflect her emotions. With collaborations with notable artists like Kizz Daniel, Victony, BNXN, Chike, Simi, and Joshua Baraka, Qing Madi has established herself as a rising star in the music industry.

The NRG Roar concert, organized by 106.5 NRG Radio in collaboration with Malembe, promises an unforgettable night of music and entertainment.

This event also marks the culmination of the Beast MVP Talent search, featuring performances by winning presenters, DJs, and MCs. Qing Madi will be joined on stage by other prominent new-age acts and NRG talent, with the full supporting lineup to be announced soon.

In a video message, Qing Madi expressed her excitement, saying, "Ki ekiri wo Kampala, I'm excited to come to Uganda for the NRG Roar on 7th September at the Zoe Grounds in Lugogo. Come let's party and have a great time. Get your tickets now at quicket.co.ug. No leaving the venue!"

Barbra Lynda, NRG Radio's Head of Brand, highlighted the unique nature of the event: "NRG Roar is more than just a concert; it's an annual multi-sensorial immersive experience. The concert will take place on September 7th at the Zoe Grounds in Lugogo. Tickets are available for purchase on quicket.co.ug, with early bird prices starting at 50,000 UGX for the Roar Zone and 100,000 UGX for the Roar Lounge. At the gate, prices will increase to 70,000 UGX and 150,000 UGX, respectively. For those seeking an exclusive experience, the Lion’s Den package for eight people is available at 3 million UGX.
