The talented songstress born Nina Kankunda says the effects of drug withdrawal included an array of body changes that even fooled her fans into thinking she was pregnant.

“During that process, you can easily gain weight,” said said in a recent interview.

“When you are on drugs, it is almost impossible to look good physically. So, when you stop using the body is returning its functionality and it can easily pick up some weight.

“That is what people saw and thought I was pregnant,” she explained.

The Billboard Kipande singer struggled with addiction, which became public information around 2020.

She was reported to have struggled to quit although she repeatedly denied relapsing.

In her interview with Kruz Xclusive this week, she pointed out that she was using hard drugs and not marijuana -- which she described as “a simple herb”
