"I even call her on the phone. You can ask her when you find her: That is it true that you speak over the phone?... It's just that you want to create situations because that's what works for you... Because good things that aren't chaotic aren't fun... And there is no intention of trying to sabotage another... You've seen it before where people organize shows on the same day, how about me who is a week ahead?"
Rema asked asked people to support Jazmine. The beef between the two songstresses was suspected after the former announced a concert date a week from the latter's.
Rema will hold her concert on February 23 at Sheraton Hotel Gardens in Kampala while that of Lydia Jazmine is on March 1 at Hotel Africana in Kampala.
Meanwhile, Rema Namakula was also candid as she addressed the controversy surrounding her recent suggestive photoshoot with her husband, Dr. Hamza Sebunya.
"Did you see my knicker? I was with Daddy; I had to show him the thigh. It was an intimate photoshoot. I always tell women, when you are with your woman, make it as suggestive as you can," Namakula, who mostly goes by Rema, told newsmen during a press conference held on Tuesday, February 2, to talk about her Melodies of Love concert that is slated for February 23, 2024, at the Sheraton Hotel in Kampala.
"Here at the press conference, you won't see my thigh, but if I am with my man, but when I'm with my man, the dress slit goes as high as the end of the upper thigh. Every part of the body is freed. It was an intimate photoshoot."
The Ngonze hitmaker said her concert will be more personal as she will share a lot about her musical journey and some of the challenges she's encountered.
