Namakula announced Thursday afternoon that she will hold a concert on February 23, 2024, at the Sheraton Hotel in Kampala. That of Jazmine is slated for March 1, 2024. Both will be held on Fridays.
Rema Namakula fixed her 2024 concert a week ahead of that of Lydia Jazmine, prompting fans to believe it's a sabotage move.

The development comes after Rema Namakula's cousin DJ Vee revealed that Jazmine was the cause of Namakula's breakup with her baby daddy Eddy Kenzo.
According to Vee, while her cousin was away on tour, Jazmine started sharing their marital bed with Kenzo.
Rema and Kenzo, who share a daughter, confirmed their breakup in 2019 though the songstress has said it had happened about two years before it became public.
The Ngonze hitmaker moved in with Kenzo around 2013 when she severed ties with Bebe Cool who started working with her when she was still in Primary School and took her under Gagamel, his record label after she completed Senior Six.
Kenzo and Rema welcomed their daughter, Aamal Musuza, on December 26, 2014. She is now with Dr. Hamza Ssebunya, and they share a daughter named Aaliyah Ssebunya.
DJ Vee's post that spilled the secrets came after reports emerged that Lydia Jazmine's friendship with Carol Nantongo had gone sour because they were having an affair with the same man. Some reports claim it is Eddy Kenzo, others say it's Chris Banina. Vee claimed it was Kenzo.
Incidentally, Banina is also Rema's close friend. Kenzo has on numerous occasions denied romantic involvement with Jazmine.
Meanwhile, this will be Lydia Jazmine's maiden concert though she is yet to confirm the venue. The promoters of Rema's show may not necessarily be after sabotaging Jazmine's show, but both concerts will definitely gain media attention thus little spend on marketing because of the alleged beef between the two songstresses.
