For the video of her 2014 hit song Jordan, Karungi, who also goes by Queen Sheebah, flew Sasha Vybz out of South Africa to shoot it.

At the time, Vybz was still new in the game but had recently shot the video of 'Stress Free', the hit collabo by Eddy Kenzo and Face Off.

They shot the video from South Africa where Sasha Vybz had been taking studies at a film school in Cape Town.

Lucky for him, Face Off was based in South Africa and he had loads of cash. Kenzo flew there for the shoot and when the video was released, Ugandans thought it had been shot by a South African because it was too good.

That's how he got the attention of Sheebah Karungi and Jeff Kiwanuka.

According to Vybz, when he came to the set, he found a lot of people, most of them thinking that they were going to meet the "white" person who had filmed Kenzo's video with Face Off.

According to him, "the mystery" gave him a lot of mileage. He was in his first year of film school.

Jordan was off Sheebah's first album dubbed Ice Cream. She had also flown to South Africa to buy the costume that was used in the video of Ice Cream which was her first hit

Sasha Vybz, real name Ian Akankwasa, was born on August 28, 1991 at Kabale Hospital. He went to different schools including Kashozi Boarding Primary School, Kigezi High School, Kitende College and Kampala Secondary School.

He later studied film and production (majoring in Directing of Photography) at City Varsity School of Media and Creative Arts in Cape Town, but this was when he was already working.

At a young age, Vybz was involved in dancing, choir and fine art while in school. After S.6, he left Kabale to come and look for work in Kampala. He landed his first gig as photographer, having been recommended by a friend to a studio.

He used knowledge obtained from YouTube to convince the studio owner that he could shoot pictures. He showed potential of first learning and he would soon become a top photographer at the studio.

It was while working at Globetek Entertainment, the Serena Hotel-based company owned Tendo Kagwa (Gaetano Kagwa's brother) that he shot his first successful professional music video. It was Biwewo by Maro.

They used to shoot different events, so one day when he went to shoot at a wedding, he didn't return the camera and used it to film Maro's song.
