Spice Diana names 6 favourite Ugandan singers in 2023

Diana, who was speaking to the media, named King Saha, David Lutalo, Winnie Nwagi, Karole Kasita, Carol Nantongo, and Rema Namakula.

King Saha, who released some well-received jams in 2023, also held a highly attended concert dubbed Ebiseera Ebyo on Friday, December 8.

King Saha's biggest project this year was probably teaming up with the rapper Feffe Bussi to release a remix of the his song titled Pretty Pretty.

King Saha, real name Mansour Ssemanda, originally released the song eight years ago and it was then produced by Ark Menz, who also goes by Meddie Menz, and is popularly known for music video directing.

The remix, which was recorded by Nessim, was posted on Feffe Bussi's YouTube and it is now the most watched on his channel.

Rema Namakula's hit song titled Tonyt has racked up 2.2 million views on YouTube in just two months. It was written by producer Ronnie on Dis One and recorded by Nessim Pan Production.

Ronnie also produced Question, which is Bebe Cool's biggest song of 2023. Question was written by Zulitums. Bebe Cool, real name Moses Ssali, paid for Sasha Vybz's flight to the U.S. to film the song's video.

Karole Kasita's song titled Chekecha was remixed by Vinka and Winnie Nwagi and its video is the second most viewed video at 3.7 million views.

Its video was shot by Aaron Mutumba, alias Aaronaire, who also directed the filming of 10 over 10 by Azawi, Okwepicha by Gravity, Believe by Dax Vibez & Vinka, Ndabula by Carol Nantongo & B2C, Ndi Wuwo by Elijah Kitaka and Tonyt by Rema Namakula.
