The Big 3 music camps and artistes that emerged from them

Firebase Crew was originally started by Cool and Wine to face off with Chameleone who had become a bigger star than them.

Their first collabo was Funtula, which was produced by Tony Houls, to diss Chameleone.

In the song, one of the lines goes: "You're calling yourself a boss yet you live in a woman's house."

That line was taking a dig at Chameleone who was then dating Dorotia, a loaded Belgian national, according to Cool’s past interviews.

Dorotia, real name Griet Onsea – shares a daughter named Ayla Onsea Mayanja with Chameleone.

Some of the artistes that broke out of Firebase include Mikie Wine, Nubian Li, Eddy Kenzo, Fantom Lovins, Sizza Man, Feffe Bussi, Nessim, Serena Bata, Zex Bilangilangi, Bucha Man, Weather Man and Black Boy.

Cool would later break away from Firebase because he didn't agree with the direction it was taking. He started Gagamel International, which has produced acts like Maureen Kabasita, Rema Namakula, Ronnie Mutabazi (who also doubles as Cool's manager) and Kiwoko Boys.

Leone Island, founded by Jose Chameleone, laid the foundation for singers like King Saha, Goodlyfe (Mowzey Radio and Weasel Manizo), Pallaso, Clever J, Tony Skeleton, Melody, AK47, Roden Y. Kabako, Young Mulo and Papa Cidy.

Bebe Cool has said in interviews that while their competition would sometimes lead to dangerous acts that left some injured, it, for the most part, helped grow them financially and talent-wise.
