Hi, welcome back to the weekly top songs series where we look at the new songs by Ugandan artistes.

Sometimes you'll find an old song and that's because the artiste had only released the audio and the video is new.

1. Rambada by Vyper Ranking

On February 15, Vyper Ranking released his latest bouncy single titled Rambada which was co-produced by Aban Beats and Nexo Beats. In October of 2023, Nexo and Ranking teamed up on a groovy jam titled Problem.

In Rambada, Vyper Ranking, who is an award-winning dancehall artist and songwriter, exalts a girl whom he says has the aura of a movie star.

Vyper Ranking's other new project is Kalibobo Cypher on which he teamed up with Sizza Man, Mark De Urban, and Nandor Love. It was produced by Rinex.

2. Wamu by A Pass

Wamu is off A Pass' latest album titled Bagonza, which has 42 tracks. The song, whose beats were made by Josh Moziah, and mixed & mastered by Baru, had its video dropped on February 10.

A Pass directed the filming of the video whose cinematography was executed by Christian Paul and Alex Ireeta. A Pass hosted the listening party of the album on Tuesday, January 30.

3. Empoole by Feffe Bussi (ft. Lydia Jazmine)

Feffe Bussi invited his former schoolmate Lydia Jazmine to feature on his latest single titled Empoole in which they sing infatuation.

The song was produced by Bass Boi, the beatmaker behind Geosteady's new song titled Spell on You and his other jams like Njagala Gwe and Sembera (Geosteady). Boi also produced Baligeya and Simple Man for Spice Diana, Amiina (Gasha Muton), Ebyo Byoli (Feffe Bussi & Karole Kasita), Key & Konfunye (Feffe Bussi), Kaweddemu (Carol Nantongo), Yamera (Malaika Ug), Omwaka Guno (King Saha).

Empoole, whose video was filmed by Jahlive, is Bussi's first project of 2024.

4. Omuwala by Sam Kimera

In Omuwala, which he wrote himself, Sam Kimera sings about love, bringing the song to life with sweet Lusoga lyrics.

The song was produced by Sam Bisaso, who also made the beat for Naava Grey's latest single titled Ndibaawa, a soothing ballad with a cutesy vibe for listening pleasure.

Meanwhile, Omuwala's amazing visuals were directed by Coulten Kirabo and Sam Kimera himself.

5. Dalilah by Joshua Baraka

Dalilah is off Joshua Baraka's latest Extended Play titled Growing Pains, which was released on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. While the album is three months old, the video of Dalilah, which was directed by Prnz, the filmmaker behind the scintillating visuals of his 2023 smash hit Nana -- was premiered on February 16.

Dalilah was produced by Axon and other songs on Growing Pains are Shine, No Lie (with Magixx), Ninda, Moonlight (featuring Yaw Tog), Dreams, and Nana (the remix).
