As usual, the Comedy Store, a weekly comedy show hosted by comedian Alex Muhangi, delivered spirited performances from all the acts showcased.

However, it was the night’s headliner Nwagi, who is signed to Swangz Avenue, that really raised the roof with her barnstorming performance.

According to the Swangz website, Winnie Nwagi was born on July 20th 1989 to Mr. & Mrs. Kabiito.

She always had a passion for music, as she started singing at school where she did music, dance and drama. Raised by a single father, Winnie dropped out of school and got kicked out of her Father’s home as a teenager and has since hustled between recording studios chasing her dream.

After many years of uncertainty, luck struck when signed up for a talent search reality TV show where she emerged second runners-up.
