Just as the dust was settling, Uncut, a popular gossip program on Sanyuka tv, one of the group’s television channels, has alarmed tweeps after publishing a trail of bizarre awards.
The awards that have since been published on Sanyuka Television’s social media channels have since attracted attention, with fans terming them as bizarre and devoid of substance.
In the poster that depicts the awards, they are titled as, “Uncut Entertainment Awards.”
The first slide shared of the awards includes categories such as Worst Dressed male artist, Best female dressed artist, and Worst dressed artist.
For the categories of Worst dressed artist, were nominees, Alimpa and Chris Evans.
Kapa Cat, Sheebah and Winnie Nwagi shared the spoils for the worst dressed artist of the year.
Fans dashed to the comments section to express dissatisfaction over the proceedings.
According to a one Hassan, something is not right within the park and if recent firings had anything to do with resuscitating operations, then a lot more need to be done.
“There is something wrong with this station. If people were looking for something to cancel, start with this whole station,” he tweeted.
Other fans were alarmed that the page posting the awards was actually the real Sanyuka TV account.
“I had to double check to be sure this was not a parody Sanyuka account. I think the entire NBS and its sister platforms need a factory reset,” tweeted a one Omunyoro.
Seasoned radio guru Kella Mckenzie took to his platform, posted a picture of the awards before asking the powers behind it to do better.
“This here is not good at all. This platform is too powerful to be misused,” he tweeted.
In the comments section, fans shared similar sentiments, questioning, whether the Chief Executive Officer ever notices such proceedings.
