After one year at NRG Radio, DJ Alisha calls it quits

Fans of NRG Radio's #NRGAmShowUG woke up to a bittersweet surprise this morning. DJ Alisha, announced her departure from the station after a remarkable year.

News of DJ Alisha's exit comes just a year after the successful launch of #NRGAmShowUG. Back in May 2023, NRG Radio made waves by introducing the show, a perfect blend of music and lifestyle content hosted by the charismatic Crysto Panda and the infectiously energetic DJ Alisha. Their undeniable chemistry and engaging personalities quickly made them listener favorites.

In a heartfelt statement released today, DJ Alisha expressed her gratitude:

"It is with a heavy heart that I bid farewell to you all after one year at NRG Radio. My time here has been nothing short of amazing. I want to express my deepest gratitude to the entire NRG Radio team and listeners for believing in me and giving me the platform to share my passion for music with the world."

At the station, Alisha received an emotional farewell from colleagues who surprised her with roses.

While fans may be disappointed, DJ Alisha's decision seems to be part of a personal growth journey.

"After much contemplation," she stated, "I've decided to take a step back from radio to focus on my personal growth journey."

Though details of her future plans remain undisclosed, DJ Alisha's message hinted at exciting possibilities:, noting, "I carry with me the memories and experiences that we've shared, and I'm excited for what the future holds."

NRG Radio's loss is sure to be felt by many. DJ Alisha's ability to seamlessly weave the latest hits into the show's flow, along with her infectious energy, was a key ingredient in the show's success.
