The youthful minister was flanked by her family comprising her parents and a sibling.
In front of the congregation, Nyamutoro expressed gratitude to God and to Pastor Robert Kayanja, whom she earlier revealed had prophesied her ministerial appointment.
“We as a family are grateful for the journey that we have moved with God, and no matter the circumstances, we have no regret whatsoever,” said the Minister.
Nyamutoro in her brief remarks also called upon the churchgoers to “stand together in prayer for our country Uganda.”
"Most importantly, we need to elevate our voices as small units of family because that is what forms the nation.”
On his part, Pastor Robert Kayanja laid hands on the new minister and anointed her to become productive in her new position.
The pastor also asked God to take away what he referred to as “wrong people” from Nyamutoro’s life.
“The Lord will surround you with the right people. He will remove all the wrong people,” declared the man of God, without naming any names.
“He will give you a heart of wisdom and understanding and will favour you. May he continue to remove every wrong thing from your way and bring to you only the right things.”
Minister Nyamutoro, who replaced Hon Peter Lokeris in the recent cabinet reshuffle has continued to command news headlines over her alleged romantic relationship with top Ugandan musician Eddy Kenzo.
Kenzo, who serves as President of the Uganda National Musicians Federation recently referred to the minister as “my woman”
Nyamutoro has also repeatedly shared suggestive pictures of the two hanging together.
