According to Daily Monitor’s entertainment magazine, Sqoop, Swangz Avenue might be at the verge of signing their first male artiste in recent times.

With full details of the agreement still scanty, what the magazine confirms is that Kitaka signed a five-year contract that will see Swangz take charge of his promotions, bookings, recordings and management.
According to the source, Swangz Avenue has chosen to remain tight lipped about proceedings until further notice.
Elijah Kitaka is popular among the urban Kampala circle and is famed for songs such as Me and You, Star, Muliro, Mukulu Nsi, and Beera Powa.
The news does not come as a shocker as both Kitaka and Swangz Avenue have maintained a cordial relationship.
Elijah Kitaka was one of the main performers at Guinness’ Bright House at Motiv, an event that was masterminded by Swangz Avenue.
Despite common misconceptions, this will not be the first male artiste to be signed to Swangz.
Other male talents that have been nurtured by the label include Zulanda, Joel Kisakye, T-Assets, among others.
Elijah Kitaka now joins Swangz’ lustrous roster that already glimmers with stars, Winnie Nwagi, Azawi and recent recruit, Zafaran.
