8 most enchanting views of Kampala city's beautiful skyline

There are countless vantage points from which to be enchanted by Kampala's beauty, with each one being more enchanting than the next.

The beauty of Kampala city comes from a combination of factors including the hilly topography (it was originally built of seven hills), the beautiful real estate, and the green vegetation that can be found all over the central business district.

This view gives you a very clean Kampala with the Sheraton gardens in the foreground, Workers' House and Bank of Uganda in the middle ground and Kabaka's Palace in Lubiri in the background.

The view of the fancy Sheraton swimming pool in the foreground, the forested area and the Twin Towers of the President's office in the middle ground Lake Victoria in the background is a view to die for.

The complexity of the taxi arrangement in this place is mindboggling. From this view, one is able to see most of the landmark buildings of the city, including Workers' House, Sheraton, Mapeera House, Church House, Pearl of Africa Hotel and beyond.

This is a landmark of cosmic proportions in Kampala city. Seen from above, the temple creates a great converse from which to view the city some 7 kilometers away towards the south. The temple grounds is one of the largest green spots in the city and we are all proud of it.

This view gives you a theatrical show of the city lights that grace Kampala nights in good weather. It is probably the best view of Kampala Road. Makes you feel like you are in a real modern city like Nairobi or Kigali. Ahem.

This view turns Kampala into a crescent of beautiful cityscape that is hard to beat, and throws in the greenery at City Hall and Sheraton Hotel. It just looks peaceful and modern from up here.

The view is mostly dominated by the Kampala Golf Course and the modern city street that is Yusuf Lule. This part of Nakasero, is very green with roads like Karonga road full of old properties surrounded by forested compounds.

While this view shows more concrete than any other view, it tends to be the most representative view of Kampala. Kampala Road cuts through at about the lower-mid section of the picture, right between Zebra Building and the easily recognisable Cham Towers, former Uganda Commercial Bank. This same view is more enchanting from Kibuli.
