Ahumuza has dominated the Ugandan fashion industry for over 10 years, turning Abryanz into a household fashion brand and No.1 Kampala luxury male apparel shop in the country. The brand has revolutionised the local fashion industry through head-turning custom-made fashion treatment that rivals international brands like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, among others, in the youth demographic.

Towards the end of 2019, Ahumuza created the first official line from the Abryanz brand starting with T-shirts designed with a barcode of the logo ABRYANZ in various colors. During the lockdown, he developed a collection from the concept 'When No One is Watching' which got him massive positive feedback.

Last week, Abryanz was listed among Africa's most prestigious brands in Uganda alongside MTN Uganda, DSTV and Mukwano.

"Over the past week, my brand was honoured with a golden award from @brandafricanetwork as the Most Ugandan Admired Apparel Brand and listed as one of the Most Admired African brands in Uganda. It was never easy, but it is worth it and I hope young people can look at this and think, 'If he can, then I can too," Ahumuza said in a post.

The stylist took the opportunity to share some inspirational words with his fans and followers.

"My urge today is that you have to get up, get as much help as you can, but if no help is availed to you, just move on. They will find you, or you will catch up with them and maybe, even go beyond. You just have to keep on moving regardless. That is what Abryanz is about. Thank you," he added.

Abryanz is also owner of Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards which started in 2013 to recognise fashion and style in Uganda under different categories. In 2016, the awards expanded to include categories for the rest of Africa.
