Two stages were set up: The Live Stage, featuring performances backed by the A Ka Dope band, and the Onja Onja stage, catering to those wanting to groove to DJ sets.
Blankets and Wine, one of Uganda’s leading music festivals, captivated crowds at the Lugogo Grounds on Sunday, September 29. This year's second edition of the festival saw music lovers gather for a mix of live performances and DJ mixes from local and international artists.

Kicking off on the Live Stage was Andereya Baguma, whose hour-long performance set the tone. MooTowNoh followed at 4:43 P.M., delivering crowd-pleasers like "Man Like M," "Colours," "Again" (which he performed with Damzy), "Vibrations," and "Zombies," concluding at 5:26 P.M. After a break, Kenyan songstress Karun, known for hits like "Catch A Vibe," "Here With Me," "Hit Me Up," and "I Know," brought an energetic vibe that got fans dancing. She was followed by Kivumbi King, the Rwandan rapper known for his hits, including "Wait," featuring Ugandan producer Axon.

The crowd braved rain showers for Joshua Baraka, who took to the stage at 7:58 P.M. with his duet "I Do" ( a duet with Bryan the Mensah). His setlist included renditions of classic songs and fan favourites such as "Tina" (featuring Shawn Maine), "Nana," "Omukwano" (with Winnie Nwagi), "Falling in Love/Dalilah," "Tonight," and "Digi IV."

Blu*3 kept the energy high, with each member performing solo hits before reuniting in fresh blue outfits for group classics. Lilian Mbabazi sang "Dagala" and "Danger," Jackie Chandiru performed "Gold Digger," and Cindy Sanyu added her touch with "Full Package." Together, they delivered crowd favourites like "Strong Woman," "Frisky," "Omukwano Guno," "Ndibeera Nawe," "Kankyakyankye," "Sanyu Lyange," and "Where You Are," before surprising the audience with Navio joining them onstage for "Burrn" and ending with "Hitaji."

Meanwhile, the Onja Onja stage buzzed with DJ mixes from AO The Walker, EM That Guy, Etania, Flo Moon, Masaka Masaka, and Reign Drops, keeping the dance floor alive throughout the festival.
