Fun Factory is gearing up to host its grand comedy show, '5 Star Madness,' on Tuesday, October 8, at the Kampala Serena Hotel. The event is a treat for Ugandan manufacturers and sketch comedy enthusiasts, offering a night of laughter and entertainment.

Richard Tuwangye, Director of Business Development at Fun Factory, revealed that the show aims to cater to those who can't attend their usual midweek shows due to work commitments. “One of the reasons we decided to organise this annual event is that many Kampalans miss our midweek shows because of their busy lifestyles,” Tuwangye said. “So, we provide a one-off opportunity for them to come, and the turnout is always quite large.”
He acknowledged that the market is big enough to support up to four shows a year, but noted that the costs of organising such events are significant. This upcoming show marks the third edition. “We chose a night where you won’t have to wake up early for work the next day,” he added, mentioning that the show will run for three hours.

Tuwangye also emphasised that the content is family-friendly, welcoming attendees to bring any family member over the age of 18. He hinted at the possibility of hosting similar events every two months, stating, "People are hungry. They need this comic relief more often than we think."
