Kasese dazzles at Neon Street Rave after epic Mt. Rwenzori Marathon

Kasese knows how to throw a party, and last night was no exception as the Tusker Lite Neon Street Rave lit up the town, serving as the perfect celebration after a successful third edition of the Tusker Lite Mt. Rwenzori Marathon earlier in the day.

Over 3,600 runners had pushed their limits against the stunning backdrop of the Rwenzori Mountains, and the festivities continued into the night.

Stanely Street, where the marathon concluded, transformed into an entertainment hotspot, with queues of eager fans stretching down the road. The main draw was singer Vinka, but local talents quickly stole the show. Heli Baibe captivated the audience with her incredible vocals, while Good Hope, a Kasese native, delivered a rousing performance that had the crowd cheering.

Aine Dash and Saint Trevor kept the energy high, and DJs Assasin and Shidy played crowd-favorite tracks, with Dance Mamweta's vibrant dance routines keeping everyone on their feet. Vinka's appearance sent the crowd into a frenzy, and her hits like "All Over You" and "Chips Ne Ketchup" had fans dancing and chanting for more.

Patience Aguti, Project Manager at UBL, emphasized the event's importance in connecting with the brand’s consumers and the local community. "The Kasese edition of the Tusker Lite Neon Rave was our way of celebrating the runners who challenged themselves in the marathon. It was a chance to share in their excitement and leave a lasting impact on the town that has hosted us so warmly," said Aguti.

As one thrilled partygoer put it, “This is exactly what Kasese needed—a special night to remember!”

With the Tusker Lite Mt. Rwenzori Marathon and Neon Rave growing in popularity, plans are already underway for an even more spectacular edition next year, promising bigger performances, thrilling experiences, and another unforgettable celebration in Kasese.
