South African DJ duo 2wo Bunnies thrill fans at Kampala party

On Saturday, Vault Lounge, one of Bugolobi’s most popular party destinations, celebrated its third anniversary in grand style. Sponsored by Don Julio, the event transformed the venue into a lively hub of energy and excitement.

Upon arrival, guests were greeted by a large blue backdrop, perfect for capturing memorable photos.

The venue's floor was carpeted in blue and red, with a massive LED screen positioned across the seating area, adding an air of sophistication. The screen showcased Don Julio videos, offering insight into the brand and providing a striking backdrop for revellers to document their night.

By midnight, Vault Lounge was packed, with barely any room to move. However, the crowd had gathered for one reason—to enjoy themselves. The night kicked off with a high-energy set from DJ Hady, who played a mix of R&B and pop tracks to get the crowd moving. DJ Vanns followed with an Afrobeat mix that kept the energy levels soaring.

The highlight of the night arrived when 2wo Bunnies took to the stage, sending the crowd into a frenzy with their signature Amapiano beats. They performed hits such as Jagermeister, Khuphuka, and Casablanca, thrilling the audience with their fresh sound, making their debut performance in Kampala a night to remember.

Throughout the night, Don Julio's team of mixologists and servers were kept busy, as bottles and cocktails flowed freely. Whether guests opted for bottle service or cocktails, Don Julio added the perfect touch to the already impressive celebration.

Simon Lapyem, Innovations Manager at UBL, described the Vault anniversary as an incredible experience that Don Julio was proud to be a part of. “We knew this would be a night to remember, and we’re extremely proud as Don Julio that we didn’t just attend but elevated the experience and celebration in every way. Sheila Gashumba, the DJ line-up, and 2wo Bunnies were the perfect combination for such a memorable night,” he said.

After 2wo Bunnies' set, DJ Roja took over, ensuring the celebrations continued well into the early hours of the morning.
