Uganda has made a strong presence at the International and French Travel Market (IFTM) 2024, held from September 17-19 at Porte de Versailles, Paris.

The IFTM event provides a valuable platform for exhibitors to showcase their tourism offerings, attract new clients, and stay informed about industry trends.
This year, it is anticipated that over 50,000 attendees will participate, with 3,000 companies from more than 100 countries exhibiting a total of 1,200 brands. Additionally, 170 destinations, including Uganda, are represented, and nearly 30,000 tourism professionals will attend over 100 conference sessions.
Uganda, known for its stunning landscapes, diverse wildlife, and vibrant culture, continues to rise in popularity on the global tourism stage. Its mountain gorillas, expansive savannahs, and lively cities offer a unique blend of adventure and relaxation.
Attendees at IFTM can explore a range of customised travel packages, from exciting safaris to peaceful nature retreats.
Speaking from Paris, Uganda’s Ambassador, Doreen Amule, expressed the country’s dedication to promoting sustainable tourism and building global partnerships. Amule said the exhibition highlights Uganda's commitment to welcoming international tourists and offering them the adventure of a lifetime.
