Recent pictures of the king hanging out in a park in neighboring Kenya showed an unmistakable dadbod peeking through the king's grey crew-neck T-shirt.

Kyabazinga hangs out in Kenya

Wearing his iconic faded smile, the monarch looked cool and relaxed.

It was not clear whether the pictures were taken during the King’s honeymoon, having wedded Queen Jovia Mutesi late last year.

But the pics quickly generated debate online.

A Facebook page named Jinja City which usually posts content about the eastern city and Busoga Kingdom, first posted the photos early this week, pointing out the king’s bulging body.

The Kyabazinga of Busoga Gabula Nadiope noticeably weightier since starting marriage. Here is at a Park in Nairobi on holiday,” went the post.

Commentators were quick to make their views heard, with many linking the weight gain to the king’s newly found marriage happiness.

Kyabazinga Gabula exchanged marriage vows with his Queen Mutesi on November 18th last year.

At the wedding, Mutesi revealed to the guests how she had made friends with the king during her university education.
