Mukasa Mbidde gets a hilarious Twitter honeymoon shower

Mbidde wedded Phiona Nayebale at Uganda Martyr's Basilica in Munyonyo, Kampala on Friday, April 28, 2023. The wedding comes three years after the couple's introduction Gasuba ceremony before the Covid-19 pandemic hit.

Mbidde, who was among the selected Ugandan representatives on the East African Legislative Assembly, had lost his first wife in 2015.

The wedding was attended by government bigwigs such as the Minister for Justice and Constitutional Affairs Norbert Mao. Mao described Mbidde as "a trustworthy friend with thick skin yet soft on the inside."

One of Mbidde's famous thick skins is the tough vocabulary that he often shares with fellow lawyer and Mayor of Kampala Erias Lukwago.

Journalist Patrick Mukasa dared Twitter to, "Using his jargon, give a caption." for the couple's wedding picture.
