The 22-year-old returned to social media days ago to announce that she had gotten her first official job.
A fervent Manchester United supporter, Princess Ssangalyambogo revealed that she is working as a sports analyst at a sports marketing agency, which she did not name.
Ssangalyambogo graduated from the University of Nottingham in July this year, where she was studying Business Management
Sharing updates on her first day at work, she said her typical day starts with a morning run or going to the gym and then walking to the train station.
“I was super nervous…but very excited about what life has in store for me from now on,” she said
Her work hours run from 9 am up to 6 in the evening.
Ssangalyambogo is Sylvia Nagginda's first child with the Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi.
Many of her followers on social media expressed surprise at her decision to get a job given her stature as a royal in East Africa’s biggest monarchy.
“You are a princess, you don't need to work…,” posted one Derrick Mugisha
Others, however, congratulated her for leading as an example, despite her background.
“The Princess of Buganda works and loves her job. Minimal makeup, braids, everything simple…” commented Leila Nyitri on TikTok
