1 Corinthians 6:18-20 says, "The sexually immoral person sins against his own body," but this cheating husband's response to his sick wife asserts the opposite.

A TikToker Christian woman and domestic violence survivor by the user name @Jennie took to her account to raise awareness about domestic violence but her story has a jarring twist that has left many shocked and calling for legal action.

According to Jennie, she noticed an infection that she took to the doctor to treat. However, in the ensuing months, she would discover that her husband had been sleeping around with sex workers without protection.

She had contracted serious infections that put her on various medications after she had struggled to get her health under control from other health issues that briefly killed her.

When she confronted her husband about the infection he allegedly said that he had been cleaning himself with anti-bacterial soaps. That should have been the end of the carelessness.

However, it turns out that his behaviour was intentional when he told her, "You were dying anyway. If I had sped that up I probably would have been doing you a favour."

"Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body," the verse reads, "But the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. The body is not meant for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. If a person physically cheats on their spouse, they aren't only dishonouring their marriage, they're dishonouring God."

She goes on to say that the people at a high risk of contracting Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) are those who assume their sexually intimate relationships are monogamous when in reality they are not.

So, yes, sexual immorality may be a sin against one's body but it is definitely worse for others involved.
