By now you know that singer Sheebah Karungi aka Queen Karma was sexually assaulted over the weekend, going by her own video statement that she posted on her social media pages. And if you are a Sheebaholic, you are mad as hell that a musician of Sheebah's caliber could be sexually assaulted.
I don't care what you think about when you see me on stage or in any of my videos dressed the way i dress up , You better RESPECT MY BODY.: - Sheebah

Sheebah posted these words with the video: TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN I dont care what you think about when you see me on stage or in any of my videos dressed the way i dress up , You better RESPECT MY BODY. Its MINE, I get to do whatever i want to do with It. You DON’T. You can watch but you CERTAINLY CAN’T TOUCH.
Sheebah says in the video:
"I had a show, I was performing for somebody. One of "those people" you "respect" and call "real role models"... This old pervert was trying to be funny with me, in my car. He just opened my car, with his security."
It appears from the above statement that the person that sexually assaulted her is a highly-connected government employee, which explains why she doesn't name him at all in the entire 140 seconds that the video lasts. Whoever it was, she was too afraid to mention him, probably for fear of revenge.
"He found me asleep in my car. I was about to go on stage. I always wait for my managers to tell me to dress up. Fast Forward, this motherblip is trying to be inappropriate in front of my team members. No shame, No remorse, nothing. And you know what I kept thinking about? I was so angry I almost didn't perform. But then I respect my job. I thought about my job. I was thinking, why don't I just effing return the money?"
So even after she was assaulted, she still went ahead and performed for this man, another sign that he is extremely powerful.
The video has started a stormy debate on whether or not she should mention the perpetrator. Below is one thread that appeared on Twitter.
A sexy Muganda:
Most men and women in the comment section say the most disturbing words. They're actually okay with sexual harassment. It's just disgusting. The way I dress isn't an invite for some perv to touch me. I pray none of those fools ever goes through stuff like this
Jozy Whitaker:
Leaving other factors constant because I don’t support such, why do victims keep hiding names and faces of the wrong doers instead of letting the public know such that other innocent people don’t fall victims of such barbaric acts???
A sexy Muganda:
When you make an accusation like that then you need evidence otherwise you may end behind bars instead. That's why many fear speaking out and calling out those culprits
Jozy Whitaker:
We should start thinking of the solution, just imagine what happens to the tenderfoot if that happened to a woman of her calibre??
A sexy Muganda:
Women should carry protection if they can afford it. A pepper spray, knife, anything
Jozy Whitaker:
Not exposing culprits now makes you become an accomplice in the next sexual assault.
A sexy Muganda:
You need evidence for that banange....nkikunyonyole ntya
Jozy Whitaker:
She has enough eye witnesses that can give direct evidence, the car was full of people. What more evidence is needed?? Finger prints or DNA!!??
A Sexy Muganda:
Who says those eye witnesses are willing to speak up? Plus the fingerprints are on the car because they HAD to meet. Ofcourse the prints are bound to be everywhere. She has no case and that's why she's not talking
Here is another that feeds into the one above:

If you ever decide to come up over issues concerning sexual harassment be bold enough to mention the name of that Beast for authorities to take part, by not mentioning nothing is done cse he will countinue to do it to many females out there!

It’s better she doesn’t disclose the “perpetrator” for her own safety, she could lose her life and the “house” too. Some People are too powerful than the imaginary authorities, such is the country we are living in.
Many people are concerned that this person is so powerful he may never face justice.
