Over 2million trees are expected to be planted under this initiative according to an earlier announcement by the Busoga Kingdom, as “a symbolic gesture celebrating the arrival of the Inhebantu.

Additionally, the queen will mobilize Busoga subjects to actively participate in the government’s Parish Development Model, contributing to noble development efforts in the region.

The Inhebantu also took part in other culturally symbolic activities including tending to a banana plantation and preparing a local dish.

By publication of this story, Mutesi was set to give her first public address to the subjects, which was expected to focus on poverty eradication, fighting the high school dropout, and early pregnancies in the kingdom.
