FULL LIST: Hudu Hussein retained in Masaka as Museveni names new RDCs, deputies

President Yoweri Museveni has retained Hudu Husein as the Resident District Commissioner (RDC) for Masaka in his latest announcement of new RDCs and their deputies.

On Monday afternoon, August 19, the President revealed the appointment of new Resident District/City Commissioners, Deputies, and Commissioners at the RDC Secretariat.

"In exercise of the powers conferred upon the President of the Republic of Uganda by Articles 99 and 203 of the 1995 Constitution (as amended); I hereby appoint the following persons as Resident District/City Commissioners, Deputies, and Commissioners at the RDC Secretariat," President Museveni stated in a message shared on X.

The updated list includes 146 RDCs and 163 deputies. Additionally, 10 Regional Commissioners have been named, including Maj. Martha Asimwe, who heads the RDC Secretariat; Sr. Grace Akiror as deputy head; Kyabangi Nakato for Central Buganda; Fredrick Mbagadi Nkayi for Kampala Metropolitan; Fred Bamwine for Karamoja; Collins Gertrude Obedi for West Nile; Col. Oguli Damuzungu for Eastern; Lt. Col. James Mwesigye for Western; Dr. James Tweheyo for Rwenzori; and Alice Akello Opio for Northern Uganda.
