On October 24, His Majesty Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, King of Tooro visited Next Media Park, the home of NBS Television, to express his heartfelt appreciation for the media house's collaboration with the Tooro Kingdom.

King Oyo received a warm welcome from Next Media's management and staff, led by Group CEO Kin Kariisa.

The King praised NBS Television for its dedication to covering pivotal events like 'Ekyoto aha mpango' and his coronation, bringing these cultural celebrations to a wider audience and preserving the rich traditions of the Tooro Kingdom.

'Ekyoto aha mpango' is a vibrant festival celebrating Tooro's cultural heritage, and the King's coronation, a landmark event in Tooro's history. He emphasized the importance of media partnerships in bridging the gap between traditional cultural practices and modern audiences.

The visit concluded with King Oyo planting a tree, symbolizing NBS TV's mission to save the environment through its "Taasa Obutonde campaign."
