President Yoweri Museveni and his family are mourning the death of one of their elderly relatives.

Mzee Ephraim Bamanywa passed away mid-this week at the age of 105. He was a paternal uncle to the Head of State.
Prime Minister Robinnah Nabbanja mourned the passing of the elder in a social media post.
“I extend heartfelt condolences to H.E (President Yoweri Museveni) and the entire family, on the passing on of Uncle Ephraim Bimanywa. May the Almighty God Comfort you in this moment of grief and grant Mzee Bimanywa's soul eternal rest,” she wrote.
A funeral service was held yesterday at Mzee Bimanywa's home in Masha, in Isingiro district where different speakers praised him for his life’s achievements and contributions.
Eulogies
Michael Nuwagira, also known as Toyota, a younger brother to President Museveni commended the deceased for the love and care he gave to the President’s family and his own.
“He showed love to anyone and helped us in any way he could,” Toyota said.
The deceased was also hailed for the work he did for the church when he still lived.”
Mzee Bimanywa is set to be laid to rest today, Friday, May 31.
