An inconsolable Segirinya said he was taken aback by these remarks and declared that Mufumbiro must never be allowed at his funeral if his demise comes as soon as the doctors have indicated.

I am sending this message to my mother; the man who said that I faked my illness, I know for sure from what the doctors have told me, that I will die before him…but he must never come to my funeral,” said the MP

You cannot make a statement like that, I left this place dying. See what I look like now. I was nearly 100kg, I am now only 46kgs.

A few weeks ago, Mufumbiro launched a scathing attack on Ssegirinya in a social media live stream, for seeking help from Kampala MP Muhammad Nsereko for his medical bills in the Amsterdam Hospital.

In the hour-long stream, Mufumbiro questioned if Ssegirinya was really as sick as he claimed.

You went to the airport walking by yourself, not in a wheelchair. You took an 8-hour flight. It was only when you got to the hospital that you somehow deteriorated…” he said.

We know that there are people who feign sickness to push through their other interests and you are not in isolation.”

Ssegirinya was discharged at the close of last week from the Amsterdam UMC hospital where he underwent treatment for different ailments ranging from skin cancer to gastrointestinal complications.

The MP said he was instructed to keep checking back with the hospital to monitor his progress.
