A chilling audio has shocked football fans as football agent Niwagira Mwiine aka Ronnie Santos bitterly warns, curses and accuses Mukwala for failing to meet his end of the bargain.
Yet to score a goal, newly signed Ugandan striker Steven Mukwala faces dilemma as his agent Ronald Fred Niwagira Mwiine has sworn that he won’t perform for Asante Kotoko over non-payment.
The former URA marksman landed a dream move to Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko in the summer transfer window.
Mwiine claims he master-minded the transfer to Asante Kotoko but his efforts were not rewarded by Mukwala after he signed a contract with the Ghana giants.
He claims Mukwala rejected to pay to him and turned his back on him after achieving his dream yet he played a big role in the transfer. He further claimed that he intimated to the Ghana bosses that Mukwala was a much-sought after target for TP Mazembe and Mamelodi Sundowns which was not the case.
“Mukwala, I respect you a lot as my brother but I can assure you, you will not succeed in Ghana,” he cursed.
He went to mention examples of football players whom he noted that did the same to him and have since faded off the scene. He stated that James Balinya and Shaban Muhammad, turned their backs on him and are now paying the consequences.
“He signed at KCCA FC without my knowledge and got UGX15M sign-off fees, he didn’t even give me a single penny, where is he now?”
“As Shaban (Muhammad), I got him when he had just returned from Raja Casablanca I paid his hospital bills for his knee treatment.”
“I helped him sign for Vipers and he didn’t give me my money, where is he? Many call it witchcraft but it is not, I serve a living a God.”
Meanwhile at Asante Kotoko, Mukwala has gone four matches without finding the back of the net. In the UPL, has scored double figures; 13, 14 and 13 respectively for three consecutive seasons.
There are also reports that pressure is mounting on him in Ghana. He reportedly accuses his alleged of hiring Ghanaian bloggers to tarnish his name.
