Kaddu was among the several players KCCA released in the transfer window as the Naguru based side sought to re-invent itself following three consecutive trophyless seasons.

He was heavily linked with a move top SC Villa but the deal is failed to have collapsed after the veteran striker decided to venture into the second tier FUFA Big League leaving fans shocked by the move.
Kitara FC reportedly offered him the leeway to sign for any club in the region if a deal is presented. The Masindi-based club were relegated from the top-tier league in 2020/21 season which ended prematurely due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
