Celebrated comedian Vincent Mwasia popularly known as <a data-link-role-code="none" href="https://www.pulselive.co.ke/entertainment/chipukeezy-mourns-death-of-his-grandfather-kilian-kakonzi-kithui/jjzqlev" rel="noopener noreferrer">Chipukeezy</a> has officially handed over the Chipukeezy show to Milele Fm presenter Nick Chege aka Kartelo.

Chipukeezy took to Instagram to share the good news with his followers saying that he had hosted the show for a year, but now Kartelo would be taking over.

“Its been a year of hosting&nbsp;<a href="https://www.instagram.com/chipukeezyshow/" rel="noopener noreferrer">@chipukeezyshow</a>&nbsp;with bahu bari and today he will be taking over the steering wheel tune in pale&nbsp;<a href="https://www.instagram.com/tv47ke/" rel="noopener noreferrer">@tv47ke</a>&nbsp;as&nbsp;<a href="https://www.instagram.com/kartelo_official/" rel="noopener noreferrer">@kartelo_official</a>&nbsp;takes over&nbsp;<a href="https://www.instagram.com/chipukeezyshow/" rel="noopener noreferrer">@chipukeezyshow</a>&nbsp;🤞”

Chipukeezy hands over show to new comedian

He did not disclose possible reasons over the take over.

Chipukeezy's show made a comeback on TV 47 months after the comedian was forced to terminate contract with Ebru . He had been asked to drop&nbsp;<a href="https://www.pulselive.co.ke/entertainment/the-chipukeezy-show-migrates-to-youtube-after-fall-out-with-ebru-tv/ttt1esc" rel="noopener noreferrer">fast-rising comedian Kartelo</a>.

Last week, <a data-link-role-code="none" href="https://www.pulselive.co.ke/entertainment/kartelo-discloses-about-his-fathers-disappearance-in-2006/s5cnsjc" rel="noopener noreferrer">Kartelo</a> disclosed that his father disappeared in 2006 and since then they have never seen him again.

Speaking to Betty Kyallo on Weekend with Betty the comedian revealed that his father woke up to go to work as usual but never came back home. When they realized that he was missing, they looked for him in hospitals, mortuary, and in prisons but their efforts were in vain.

“Mzae unajua alidisappear si eti alideady, alidisappear tu. Aliamka asubuhi akaenda job na hajai rudi. Nlikua namjua na alidisappear 2006. Tulimtafuta jela tukamfuta mortuary, hosi but hajai patikana. Akatangazwa mpaka sahii hajai patikana” said Kartelo.

Milele Fm Presenter Nick Chege popularly known as <a data-link-role-code="none" href="https://www.pulselive.co.ke/entertainment/chipukeezys-message-to-kartelo-after-landing-radio-job-with-milele-fm/xl8cf10" rel="noopener noreferrer">Kartelo </a>is looking for a girlfriend ahead of Valentine's day and he is not just looking for any ordinary girlfriend but a police officer.

Speaking during his show dubbed Bangaiza reloaded with Chris, Kartelo revealed that he wanted a female police officer who wrote the Occurrence Book (OB) in a police station.

“Sitaki wa Jela sitaki wa band, sitaki wa misitu, ama wa KWS nataka karao na si CID ama flying squad nataka hawa wa hapa mtaani huyo mwenye anaandikishanga OB huyo mwenye unapelekeanga kesi wenye wakona uniform mpya bora akue na pingu” said Kartello.

This comes a few days after&nbsp;Comedian Chipukeezy sent the young man a message upon landing a job with with Milele FM.

In a post he shared after <a data-link-role-code="none" href="https://www.pulselive.co.ke/entertainment/kartello-pens-a-lucrative-job-with-milele-fm/55nkhx0" rel="noopener noreferrer">Kartelo</a> was officially introduced on his show, The Chipukeezy show host said he was proud of the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.pulselive.co.ke/entertainment/kate-actress-child-birth-is-a-near-death-experience/n0bv4r8" rel="noopener noreferrer">young comedian’s new milestone.</a>

He went on to say that he (Kartelo) should always strive to be himself and not just fit into the new platform he has been given by Milele FM.

Chipu also encouraged young lads who left their homes in the village to come find a decent life in the City not to give up on their dreams, because one day things will work out in their favour.

Kartelo opens up on his ideal woman

Nacada Director cum <a href="https://www.pulselive.co.ke/entertainment/you-have-loved-me-defended-and-protected-me-kambua-emotional-message-to-hubby-pastor/bkrfsf1" rel="noopener noreferrer">Comedian Chipukeezy</a> is set to unveil his own Stand Up Comedy show dubbed “Chipukeezy Comedy Club”.

In an announcement on his Instagram page, Chipukeezy mentioned that the new show has been tailored to give a platform to talented upcoming comedians, who are yet to access the main stream media.

The funny man pointed out that the Stand Up Comedy show will be filmed at Capital Centre along Mombasa road every Thursday with Kartelo and Chipukeezy as the hosts.
