The evening was hosted by MC Kacheche and Lithan Mc, who kept the audience entertained while Bell Lager showcased their diverse beer range. Guests were treated to a variety of options, including the new Bell Citrus, fresh Bell Draught, and a selection of food platters, known as "the 256 way." Despite the rainy weather, the event remained vibrant with music mixes by Riddim Selekta and engaging interactions led by the MCs.
The Bell ObaFest-themed experience aims to gear up audiences for the main festival, which is set to take place from 18th to 20th October at Jahazi Pier in Munyonyo. According to Lillian Kansiime, the Bell Lager Brand Manager, this year's Bell ObaFest promises to be bigger and better, offering a unique blend of music, beer, and food that reflects the East African lifestyle. She emphasised that the festival will champion inclusivity and sustainable practices, making it not only an unforgettable experience but also one that supports various communities.
The pre-Bell ObaFest experience in Mbarara included opportunities for attendees to win Bell ObaFest merchandise and tickets to the main event. This regional tour will continue to other key towns across Uganda, building excitement and anticipation for the three-day festival in October. The festival itself is designed to provide a multi-sensory experience, bringing together the best of East African food, beer, and music.
Tickets for Bell ObaFest are available through Flexipay, with early bird prices set at UGX 30,000 per day, and gate tickets priced at UGX 50,000. A full weekend pass is also available at UGX 70,000, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the festival's unique celebration of culture and community.
