The revered vocalist, actress, and former beauty queen is bent on getting the most out of her advanced age.
At 63, Namakula spends her weekends in the sunshine.
“I’m tired of being home guys,” said the ‘Sambagala’ singer in a clip she shared on Instagram from last weekend.
“Don't be mad at me. This is the new sixties…sassy and confident,” she said while sipping on a cocktail.
Namakuka shared snaps of herself hanging out with friends at the Kampala Sheraton poolside.
In a red-striped plunging swimsuit and a beige and black sun hat, she wasted no time showing off her age-defying looks.

She playfully penned as the caption: “Mikwano jange (friends) come and get sassy and confident with me at (Kampala Sheraton) mmmm hmmmm ❤️”
In an earlier clip, she dipped slightly in the massive pool, admitting how bad she is at swimming.
“But still I’ll come and splash the water a little bit. But I have to be in the water.”
Her followers rushed to wish her well, and comment on the video, with one person writing, “And they're here not being confident at the 20s😂😂mama has said it all.”
Another wrote; “My legendary mummy Halima, just love ur style ad self-respect in u my role model.”
The mother of two is prolific on Instagram and has for years been documenting her lavish and versatile lifestyle.
Known the industry as "the mother of all artists," Halima has been singing and acting for most of her life.
She’s lived a single life since her husband passed away back in 1994.
Last year, however, he said she might be back on the dating scene. She said she wanted a man, about three years younger than her.
