At the time, Jeff Kiwanuka was the manager of Goodlyfe and would oversee whoever worked with them.

Shortly after appearing in the video, Mowzey Radio wrote Nkwetaga and invited Sheebah to sing it with them.

Those two times of working with Goodlyfe would bear immense fruits in the future of her music career.

Thanks to Brenda Nambi, Sheebah dropped an epic video of Ice Cream, whose audio had initially failed to resonate with Ugandans. When Jeff watched the video, he told her it was good and that she should do everything it took to promote it.

When she told him she didn’t have a means of transport, he offered to drive her. The song became a hit and she even released an album named after the song.

However, while Sheebah was excited that her music career was finally taking off, Jeff killed her mood when he told her he no longer wanted to deal with singers. She wanted them to plan for the next project.

Sheebah continued to convince Jeff until he accepted to do with her one more project with the condition that she wouldn’t bother him again.

Sheebah hit the studio for Twesana which became widely successful. Jeff Kiwanuka saw the future in her and they finally signed a deal to work.

Sheebah Karungi and Jeff Kiwanuka finally stopped working together after 10 years and their split became public in December 2021.
