The talented artiste, born Hajara Namukwaya, has been at the end of some social media attacks recently for not being able to drop new hits since her 2022 banger “Sili Regular”
She said in an interview that she has been seeing such comments on social media, especially TikTok.
Diana, however, is unfazed because she believes she has reached a level where she can no longer be irrelevant in the Ugandan music industry.
Too big to fall
“I have told people before that even if I don't sing again for the next four or five years, I will still be talked about, I will be booked and will be around,” she said
“ You will talk about me by force even if I don't ask. Why do you think they talk about me? It is the same reason I don't perform in bars any more…I only do open grounds.”
Diana also noted that she feeds off all commentary even if it is negative.
“Even if you talk about me negatively, I am still working as long as you talk about me,” she said.
The 28-year-old has over the past 7 years curved herself out as one of the most remarkable and sought-after female artists in the country.
She has also ventured widely outside of music into charity and businesses, building one of the most financially sound brands in the country.

Meanwhile, during the interview, Diana addressed other forms of criticism that she faces online including her demeanour.
She said some people do not like the way she speaks or conducts herself, which she finds surprising.
“There is an old Ugandan man abroad who attacks me on TikTok saying that a lot.
“But that’s because I am not from uptown, I am from the ghetto of Nakulabye and I eat off my word,” she said.
